As expected, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II shattered the midnight box office record last night bringing in a total $43.5M!
Of course most predictions have the movie easily breaking Twilight: New Moon's opening day of $72.7.
The real question is can the movie break The Dark Knight's opening weekend of $158.4M??
