Universal has hired writer John Orloff to write the upcoming Battlestar Galatica movie.
Orloff wrote and executive produced Roland Emmerich's Anonymous, Zack Snyder's Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole and A Mighty Heart, starring Angelina Jolie. He also received an Emmy nomination for HBO's "Band of Brothers."
